Services Provided
COVID Information
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, I am using secure video-conferencing to conduct most clinical care for the foreseeable future. On a case by case basis, I am providing in-person care for fully vaccinated adults and teens as well as some unvaccinated children. Safety protocols are in place for in-person care.
Individual Therapy
I work with adults, adolescents, children and their caregivers to address a range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I specialize in the treatment of eating and weight related problems. This includes working with individuals who have eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating), dissatisfaction with their appearance, and other unhealthy eating patterns and beliefs.
I also work with people seeking weight loss treatment and/or conduct pre-surgical evaluations for weight loss surgery. I am experienced with a wide range of medical problems (e.g., diabetes, weight concerns) and the psychological difficulties associated with these problems.
Parenting Consultation
I provide parenting consultations for eating and/or weight concerns about their child. This allows evaluation and parent skills training to address concerns without involving the child.
Initial Visit
Our first visit is treated like a consultation. During this time, we will get to know each other and determine if we are a good fit. If I am not the best fit, I will do my best to help you find someone that is.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 804-396-4135.
